The Earth Skater shopping cart is a hosted solution; this means we host your shopping cart website and you do not need any other web host service.  Let me explain why you want a hosted solution and not the headache of hosting your own shopping cart website yourself.

1) eCommerce software almost always requires updates over time to remain secure and maintain features (even with PayPal)

2) eCommerce software is best hosted by the vendor who will be responsible for the technology alleviating your burden of managing the software and hosting

3) Technical support is most efficient when hosting with the shopping cart vendor.  We may need to work through your web host on any future updates.

4) Our eCommerce software requires third party components to be installed to your web hosting which most web hosts do not allow.
